When I lost my dog Rookie, suddenly in September 2018, I was shattered. I loved that dog almost as much as I love any human, and his passing was really REALLY hard to get over. Within several days of losing him, I had made myself a floating locket-style memorial necklace using fur I had previously snipped from the tip of his tail. I wore the memorial pendant everywhere I went for months, and found that it brought me a great deal of comfort and peace to have him with me. Not only that, but the pendant also became a conversation starter about Rookie…. allowing me to share and recount my most wonderful memories with him. As silly as it may sound, this small tribute to my beloved friend—a wearable keepsake that made me feel like he was always with me— helped me through the difficult grieving process so I could begin to heal from my loss. Later, I decided that maybe I could bring a little light to the life of others who are mourning the loss of their beloved pets… cats, dogs, horses, etc… by offering my personalized memorial pendants to the world. Each Precious Pet Keepsake memorial pendant is crafted and assembled with great love and passion for bringing comfort & healing to those who are painfully mourning the loss of a "furever friend". The pendants are customized for cats, dogs, horses OR miscellaneous small pets (BE SURE TO SELECT THE CORRECT ANIMAL-TYPE FROM DROP-DOWN MENU), as well as personalized by using the photo of your choice AND optional fur or mane/tail hair. *PLEASE NOTE that the photo of your animal should not be "zoomed-in" or taken "close-up", and should be prepared to send digitally to [email protected] immediately upon placing your order.
